Job Description

At CBRE Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Facility Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our data center. As the Critical Facility Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data center, which is a critical asset for our clients' businesses. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in facilities management and a deep understanding of critical infrastructure.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the data center, including but not limited to power and cooling systems, security, and environmental controls.
  2. Ensure all critical systems are operating at optimal levels and take proactive measures to prevent and resolve any issues.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance and operational procedures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the data center.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and prioritize work orders and coordinate maintenance activities.
  5. Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to data center operations.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely completion of work and adherence to budget.
  7. Create and manage budgets for the data center, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  8. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the data center to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
  9. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
  10. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of data center technicians and other staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in critical facility management to continually improve operations.
  12. Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
  13. Communicate regularly with upper management to report on data center operations, performance, and any potential risks or opportunities.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment for all employees and visitors.
  15. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data center operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Data Center Facility Management, With A Focus On Critical Infrastructure.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Systems And Operations, Including Hvac, Electrical, And Mechanical Systems.

  • Experience Managing And Coordinating Vendors, Contractors, And Service Providers.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations And Work Effectively Under Pressure.
