CBRE Group is seeking a Conference & Events Manager to join our team and be responsible for coordinating and managing our company's conferences, meetings, and other events. As the Conference & Events Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our clients and colleagues. We are looking for a driven and creative individual with excellent communication and project management skills.   1. Plan and coordinate all aspects of CBRE Group's conferences, meetings, and events, including venue selection, budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful execution of events.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective event solutions.
  4. Create event concepts and themes that align with company objectives and target audience.
  5. Manage event registration and attendee communications.
  6. Oversee event marketing and promotion efforts to ensure maximum attendance.
  7. Prepare and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate event logistics, such as room set-up, audio/visual needs, catering, and transportation.
  9. Conduct post-event evaluations and analyze data to measure the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event planning and management.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and safety regulations.
  12. Manage a team of event staff and provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
  13. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and senior leadership.
  14. Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all events.
  16. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the event experience for attendees and improve event processes.
  17. Travel to event locations as needed.
  18. Uphold CBRE Group's brand and reputation through professional and courteous interactions with all stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Conference And Event Planning, Preferably In A Corporate Environment.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Teams And Clients.

  • Proficiency In Event Planning Software And Tools, Such As Cvent Or Eventbrite, And Knowledge Of Budgeting And Financial Management For Events.
