1. Assist the Chief Engineer in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of commercial properties.
2. Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of all building systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
4. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and equipment inventory.
6. Assist with the hiring and training of new engineering staff.
7. Monitor and maintain energy management systems to ensure optimal building performance.
8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or complaints.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes and procedures.
10. Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
11. Assist with budget planning and cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources.
12. Respond to emergency situations and provide timely resolution to minimize disruption to building operations.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or management team.
