Ultrasound Technologist

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Ultrasound Technologist to join Catholic Health Initiatives. You should have a deep understanding of the ultrasound equipment and technologies as well as the necessary clinical skills to perform high-quality scans. The ability to effectively collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential for the successful candidate.To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and have a valid CPR certification. A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field and recent experience with advanced imaging technologies such as 3D/4D ultrasound would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to capture and interpret images for diagnostic purposes.
2. Perform high-quality scans and assess images for accuracy and clarity.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
4. Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explain the procedure, and answer any questions the patient may have.
5. Maintain accurate records of patient images and reports.
6. Monitor and adjust imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
8. Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant ultrasound technologies and equipment.
9. Assist with the training of new Ultrasound Technologists.
10. Remain current on the latest ultrasound techniques and technologies.
