
Ultrasound Technologist
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Ultrasound Technologist to join Catholic Health Initiatives. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You should have a deep understanding of the ultrasound equipment and technologies as well as the necessary clinical skills to perform high-quality scans. The ability to effectively collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential for the successful candidate.To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and have a valid CPR certification. A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field and recent experience with advanced imaging technologies such as 3D/4D ultrasound would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to capture and interpret images for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform high-quality scans and assess images for accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explain the procedure, and answer any questions the patient may have.
- Maintain accurate records of patient images and reports.
- Monitor and adjust imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant ultrasound technologies and equipment.
- Assist with the training of new Ultrasound Technologists.
- Remain current on the latest ultrasound techniques and technologies.
