Sr Wireless Network Engineer

Catholic Health Initiatives is currently looking for an experienced Sr Wireless Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining wireless networks and their associated infrastructure. We are looking for someone who has a strong technical background and a passion for network engineering.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with wireless network engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Additionally, they should have a deep understanding of wireless technologies, such as 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, as well as experience with network security and troubleshooting. Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy secure wireless networks and associated infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot wireless networks to identify and resolve performance and security issues
• Analyze network requirements and design solutions to meet those needs
• Create and maintain documentation related to wireless network configuration and performance
• Implement security measures to protect wireless networks from unauthorized access
• Research and evaluate new wireless technologies and products
• Educate end users on proper wireless network use
• Coordinate with other IT departments to ensure seamless integration of wireless networks with other systems
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
