Welcome to Catholic Health Initiatives! We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Renal Unit Nurse to join our team.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the renal unit.
  2. Uphold the values and mission of Catholic Health Initiatives by incorporating faith-based principles into patient care.
  3. Utilize clinical expertise and knowledge of renal care to assess and manage patient needs.
  4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide treatments as prescribed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on renal disease management and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  9. Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest developments in renal care.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  12. Collaborate with community resources to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: A Strong Educational Foundation Is Essential For A Renal Unit Nurse In Order To Understand The Complex Medical Conditions And Treatments Involved In Caring For Patients With Kidney Disease.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment: In Order To Practice As A Nurse At Catholic Health Initiatives, Candidates Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Where The Renal Unit Nurse Position Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Or Nephrology Setting: Working In A Renal Unit Requires Specialized Knowledge And Skills, Making Prior Experience In A Similar Setting Highly Desirable.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: As A Nurse At Catholic Health Initiatives, Candidates Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications To Ensure They Are Prepared To Respond To Any Emergency Situation That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Renal Unit Nurses Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team. They Must Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate Care And Support To Patients And Their Loved Ones.
