- Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Administer respiratory medications and perform various respiratory procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and disease management.
- Stay current on advancements and changes in respiratory therapy practices and techniques.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care for patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to respiratory therapy.

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Respiratory Therapy Principles And Practices.
Active Respiratory Therapist License: Candidates Must Hold A Valid And Active Respiratory Therapist License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Qualified And Authorized To Practice Respiratory Therapy In That State.
Certification From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc): Candidates Must Possess Current Certification From The Nbrc As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt). This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The Nbrc And Is Well-Versed In All Aspects Of Respiratory Therapy.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Respiratory Therapist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting. This Experience Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Demands And Challenges Of The Job And Can Hit The Ground Running.
Knowledge Of Current Respiratory Therapy Practices And Procedures: Candidates Should Be Up-To-Date On The Latest Advancements And Best Practices In Respiratory Therapy. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Respiratory Equipment, Techniques, And Treatment Protocols. This Ensures That The Candidate Can Provide The Highest Quality Care To Patients At Catholic Health Initiatives.
