- Develop personalized rehabilitation plans for patients with chronic lung diseases, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized treatment approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' pulmonary function and overall health status to determine appropriate treatment goals and interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about pulmonary rehabilitation, disease management, and self-care strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.
- Stay current on advancements in pulmonary rehabilitation techniques and technologies, incorporating them into practice as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting all assessments, treatments, and progress notes in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for pulmonary rehabilitation.
- Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and welcoming environment for all.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Certified Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist (Cprs) Or Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
Experience Working With Patients With Chronic Respiratory Conditions, Such As Copd Or Cystic Fibrosis.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Educate Patients On Pulmonary Rehabilitation Techniques And Strategies.
