
Privacy and Information Security Analyst
At Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Privacy and Information Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of information security and privacy protocols, and be committed to ensuring the privacy and security of CHI systems and information.The Privacy and Information Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining the security of CHI’s information systems and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Through a combination of technical and administrative skills, this individual will be a key contributor to CHI’s risk management and security initiatives.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field• At least two years of experience in information security and/or privacy• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentIf you are passionate about protecting and securing valuable information, and have the skills and experience to excel in this role, we invite you to apply. Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and maintain the security of CHI’s information systems and ensure they are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for the secure handling of confidential data and information.
- Review and update existing security measures to ensure they are up to date and effective.
- Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify security weaknesses.
- Investigate security breaches and other cyber incidents.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on data security and privacy.
- Monitor and report on compliance with security and privacy regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of security and privacy trends and technologies.
- Respond to requests from stakeholders for information security reviews and audits.
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors and provide requested information.
