Job Description

Welcome to Catholic Health Initiatives! We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Virtual Care team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients from the comfort of their own homes.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients through virtual platforms, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients, including reviewing medical history, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests.
  4. Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments as needed.
  5. Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and best practices in virtual care.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of healthcare services.
  9. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients of all backgrounds and beliefs.
  10. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
  11. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Act as a role model for the organization's values and mission of healing and service.
  13. Collaborate with the Virtual Care team to improve processes and patient outcomes.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing Catholic Health Initiatives with integrity and compassion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant In The State Of Practice.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In A Telemedicine Or Virtual Care Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members Remotely.

  • Ability To Adapt To New Technology And Work Efficiently In A Virtual Care Environment.
