Phlebotomist

Responsibilities:

1. Draw blood from patients in a professional, safe, and proficient manner.
2. Collect and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis.
3. Verify patient information and obtain consent for blood draws.
4. Label and store specimens properly following established protocol.
5. Provide accurate and timely patient and test results.
6. Maintain inventory of supplies and order new supplies when needed.
7. Ensure laboratory areas are kept clean and tidy.
8. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
9. Assist in training and evaluating new phlebotomists.
10. Handle difficult or emergency situations with professionalism and composure.
