  2. Label and properly store collected samples for laboratory testing.
  3. Verify patient information and ensure accuracy of collected samples.
  4. Explain procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  6. Perform various laboratory procedures, such as sample processing and analysis, under the supervision of a medical technologist.
  7. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  8. Keep accurate records and documentation of all collected samples and procedures performed.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations.
  10. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care and test results.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  12. Adhere to privacy and confidentiality guidelines to protect patient information.
  13. Attend continuing education and training opportunities to stay updated on industry developments and advancements.
  14. Handle difficult or sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  16. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Phlebotomy Training Program: Candidates For A Phlebotomist Job At Catholic Health Initiatives Should Have Completed A Formal Phlebotomy Training Program That Includes Both Classroom Instruction And Hands-On Clinical Experience.

  • Certification As A Phlebotomist: Catholic Health Initiatives May Require Candidates To Be Certified As A Phlebotomist By A Recognized Certifying Agency, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Phlebotomy Association (Npa).
