Patient Care Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and ambulating.
2. Answer patients’ questions and provide emotional support.
3. Obtain vital signs and monitor patient’s condition.
4. Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
5. Assist with admission and discharge processes.
6. Communicate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met.
7. Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up care.
8. Assist with providing patient education and support.
9. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
10. Assist with transporting patients as needed.
