As a Nutrition Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to our patients.   • Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks for patients, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Monitor and record patient food and fluid intake, as well as any special requests or concerns
  • Communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare team members regarding patient dietary needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and storage
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
  • Uphold the values and mission of Catholic Health Initiatives in all interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field: A Qualified Nutrition Assistant At Catholic Health Initiatives Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field Such As Dietetics, Food Science, Or Public Health Nutrition. This Educational Background Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Nutrition Principles And Can Effectively Assist In Providing Nutrition Services.
