
Neurodiagnostic Technician

- Perform neurodiagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies accurately and efficiently
- Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines
- Monitor patient during testing to ensure their safety and comfort
- Record and analyze test results, and communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families on the testing process and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in neurodiagnostic technology and techniques, and participate in ongoing training and education to maintain proficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure the proper disposal of hazardous materials
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times
Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As A Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.eeg.t) Through The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Neurodiagnostic Department.
Strong Understanding Of Neuroanatomy And Physiology, As Well As Knowledge Of Various Neurological Disorders And Their Corresponding Diagnostic Tests.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
