- Perform MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain the procedure to alleviate any concerns or anxieties.
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their well-being and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Review and evaluate MRI images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient information and scan results.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and education to stay current with advancements in MRI technology.
- Provide excellent patient care by demonstrating compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other medical staff.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste properly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Act as a resource and mentor for other staff members.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Health Initiatives in all job duties.
Certification And Licensure: All Applicants Must Possess A Current Certification And License As A Mri Technologist From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Mri Technologist Is Required, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Mri Equipment: Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Mri Equipment And Be Able To Operate And Troubleshoot Various Types Of Machines.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role, As Mri Technologists Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Commitment To Quality And Patient Care: Demonstrated Commitment To Providing High-Quality Patient Care And Adhering To Safety Protocols Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
