  1. Oversee and manage the cancer registry program for Catholic Health Initiatives.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for cancer data collection and reporting.
  3. Utilize expertise in cancer data collection and reporting to provide accurate and timely information.
  4. Lead and supervise a team of Certified Tumor Registrars.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the cancer registry program.
  6. Train and mentor staff on proper data collection and reporting techniques.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete cancer data.
  8. Monitor and analyze cancer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  10. Serve as a resource for staff and healthcare providers on cancer registry related issues.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the cancer registry program.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and security of all cancer data.
  13. Stay current with changes in regulations and guidelines related to cancer data reporting.
  14. Represent Catholic Health Initiatives in professional organizations and meetings related to cancer registry.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients with cancer.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Credential Through The National Cancer Registrars Association (Ncra)

  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Cancer Registry Management, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cancer Registry Operations, Including Data Collection, Coding, And Reporting

  • Excellent Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Tumor Registrars, Including Delegating Tasks, Providing Training And Support, And Conducting Performance Evaluations.
