  1. Conduct laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
  2. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  3. Receive and process patient samples in a timely manner, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
  4. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies for testing.
  5. Perform quality control checks and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all tests performed and results obtained.
  7. Assist in the training of new lab assistants and provide guidance when needed.
  8. Collaborate with medical staff and other team members to ensure prompt and accurate communication of test results.
  9. Stay informed about new developments and techniques in the field of laboratory science and incorporate them into daily practices.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Assist in inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies.
  12. Foster a positive and professional work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, answering any questions or concerns they may have about the laboratory testing process.
  14. Attend and actively participate in department meetings and trainings.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Analyze Data.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Safety Protocols And Quality Control Measures.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Hospital Environment.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Proficiency In Computer Skills, Such As Microsoft Office.
