  1. Provide support to healthcare professionals by assisting with various lab procedures and tasks.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  3. Collect and prepare samples for testing, following strict protocols and procedures.
  4. Perform basic laboratory tests and accurately record and report results.
  5. Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of samples to prevent errors.
  6. Follow safety protocols and maintain proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies with samples or testing equipment.
  8. Keep detailed records of all testing procedures and results, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  9. Collaborate with other lab staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate testing.
  10. Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary lab supplies.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, answering any questions or concerns.
  12. Stay updated on industry developments and new testing procedures to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  14. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation.
  15. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by lab supervisors or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Science-Related Field Or Equivalent Experience In A Laboratory Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Proper Handling And Disposal Of Hazardous Materials.

  • Experience Working With Electronic Medical Records And Proficiency In Data Entry And Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Clia And Hipaa Regulations And Compliance Standards.
