At Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), we are seeking an individual who will bring passion and dedication to the role of IT Software Engineer Associate Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and project management, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and a commitment to excellence.The IT Software Engineer Associate Project Manager will be responsible for managing software projects from start to finish, including but not limited to, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. This individual must have experience with software engineering processes and project management methodologies, as well as a deep understanding of the software development life cycle. Additionally, the IT Software Engineer Associate Project Manager must have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring that projects meet customer expectations and are completed on time and on budget.Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field; a minimum of three years’ experience in software engineering and project management; and experience with software development life cycle methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess strong technical skills, including experience with various programming languages, relational databases, and operating systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage software projects from start to finish, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring that projects meet customer expectations and are completed on time and on budget.
  3. Utilize software engineering processes and project management methodologies to ensure successful project completion.
  4. Provide expertise in software development life cycle methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  5. Possess strong technical skills, including experience with various programming languages, relational databases, and operating systems.
  6. Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and project goals.
  7. Monitor progress and provide feedback on project milestones.
  8. Develop reports and other documentation related to software engineering projects.
  9. Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with budget.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
