- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases.
- Assist physicians in performing endovascular procedures by preparing equipment, positioning patients, and providing technical support.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, monitoring vital signs and responding to any patient concerns.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established protocols and safety measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Review patient medical history and explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, including patient information, procedure details, and any complications or adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Stay current on industry advancements and best practices in endovascular radiology, attending trainings and conferences as necessary.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment by collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field
American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification In Radiography
Certification In Vascular-Interventional Radiography (Vi) Or Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology (Cvit)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Endovascular Radiologic Technologist
Knowledge Of Current Endovascular Procedures And Techniques, Including Interventional Radiology And Cardiac Catheterization.
