
Critical Care Physician Assistant

- Provide high-quality critical care to patients under the supervision of physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care to patients in critical condition.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing education and support.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in critical care medicine.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor at all times.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members.
- Continuously assess and improve personal skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification
Master's Degree From An Accredited Physician Assistant Program
Board Certification As A Physician Assistant
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Critical Care Setting
Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner
