Job Description

If so, Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the overall mission of Catholic Health Initiatives. To be successful in this position, you must be a registered dietitian with a minimum of two years of clinical experience. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.   1. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients.
  2. Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients based on their specific needs and medical conditions.
  3. Conduct nutrition assessments and monitor patients' progress towards their nutrition goals.
  4. Utilize medical nutrition therapy principles to improve the health and well-being of patients.
  5. Contribute to the overall mission and values of Catholic Health Initiatives by providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients.
  6. Keep up-to-date with current research and best practices in nutrition and incorporate them into patient care.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and colleagues to ensure understanding and compliance with nutrition recommendations.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, care plans, and progress.
  9. Participate in team meetings and provide input on patient care and nutrition-related topics.
  10. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice related to nutrition and healthcare.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve nutrition services and programs to meet the changing needs of patients and the organization.
  12. Serve as a role model for healthy eating behaviors and promote a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
  13. Collaborate with community organizations and participate in outreach programs to promote nutrition and wellness.
  14. Attend professional development opportunities and maintain RD certification through continuing education.
  15. Uphold the ethical standards of the profession and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Clinical Dietitian In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Including Experience With Tube Feeding, Parenteral Nutrition, And Enteral Nutrition.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team Members To Provide Comprehensive Patient Care.
