  1. Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on their medical conditions, dietary needs, and preferences.
  2. Educate patients and their families on the importance of healthy eating habits and provide practical recommendations for implementing dietary changes.
  3. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective nutrition therapy for patients.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress towards their nutrition goals and make necessary adjustments to their care plans.
  5. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patients' nutrition assessments, care plans, and education provided.
  6. Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
  7. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and state laws and regulations.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  9. Serve as a resource for the organization on nutrition-related topics and provide educational sessions for staff and the community.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards patients, families, and colleagues, displaying empathy and compassion in all interactions.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  12. Continually strive for personal and professional growth through continuing education and self-evaluation.
  13. Represent Catholic Health Initiatives in a positive manner and uphold the organization's mission, values, and standards of excellence in all interactions.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Services Manager or other supervisory personnel.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Dietetics, Nutrition, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential Through The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Organization.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Including Disease-Specific Diets And Nutrition Support.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Healthcare Team Members, And Other Stakeholders.
