Graduation From An Accredited Surgical Technician Program: Candidates Should Possess A Diploma Or Associate's Degree From An Accredited Surgical Technician Program.
Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Certification: Candidates Should Have Current Certification From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa) As A Cst.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting: Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Surgical Technician In A Hospital Or Surgical Center.
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Surgical Procedures And Be Familiar With Surgical Equipment And Instruments.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment: Candidates Should Be Able To Remain Calm And Focused Under Pressure And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Surgical Environment. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills.
