  1. Assist in surgical procedures by setting up and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  2. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
  3. Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infection.
  4. Prepare patients for surgery by positioning and draping them appropriately.
  5. Monitor vital signs and provide support to patients during surgery.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient records.
  7. Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens.
  8. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to surgical technology and procedures.
  11. Assist in training and mentoring new surgical technicians.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduation From An Accredited Surgical Technician Program: Candidates Should Possess A Diploma Or Associate's Degree From An Accredited Surgical Technician Program.

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Certification: Candidates Should Have Current Certification From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa) As A Cst.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting: Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Surgical Technician In A Hospital Or Surgical Center.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Surgical Procedures And Be Familiar With Surgical Equipment And Instruments.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment: Candidates Should Be Able To Remain Calm And Focused Under Pressure And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Surgical Environment. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills.
