Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI):

6. Instruct patients on medications and post-treatment care instructions.
7. Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars.
8. Answer patient inquiries and provide information about health care services.
9. Assist with medical billing and coding.
10. Follow up with patients regarding test results and other issues.
