- Provide compassionate and exceptional care to breast cancer patients throughout their journey, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
- Serve as a point of contact and support for breast cancer patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Work closely with medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on breast cancer, treatment options, and available resources.
- Coordinate and facilitate appointments, tests, and procedures for patients, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for patients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain current knowledge of advancements in breast cancer treatment and care.
- Advocate for patients and their needs, providing a voice and support throughout their journey.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient care to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence in patient care within the organization.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and organizations to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Breast Health Nursing Or Related Field.
Certification As A Breast Care Nurse (Cbcn) Or Breast Patient Navigator (Cbpn) Preferred.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Support Patients And Their Families.
