- Oversee revenue cycle operations for anesthesia services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise and train revenue cycle staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and analyze revenue cycle data to identify and address any issues or trends.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and clinical operations, to optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on industry changes and best practices related to revenue cycle management.
- Serve as a liaison between anesthesia providers and billing department to resolve any billing-related issues.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and correct any errors or discrepancies in billing processes.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and reports related to revenue cycle operations.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve any billing inquiries or disputes.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate collections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of revenue cycle policies and procedures.
- Participate in budget planning and financial forecasting for anesthesia services.
- Adhere to Catholic Health Initiatives' mission, values, and ethical standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, Preferably In Anesthesia Billing And Coding.
Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (Crcr) Certification Preferred.
Strong Understanding Of Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Insurance Billing And Reimbursement Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With Experience In Managing A Team Of Revenue Cycle Staff.
