  1. Review and accurately assign appropriate anesthesia codes to patient records.
  2. Conduct thorough audits of coded records to ensure compliance with coding regulations and guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate code assignments.
  4. Stay updated on changes and updates in anesthesia coding guidelines and regulations.
  5. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all coding tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Professional Coder (Cpc) From The American Academy Of Professional Coders (Aapc).

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Coding Experience In An Anesthesia Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Anesthesia Coding Guidelines And Reimbursement Systems, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Familiarity With Anesthesia Terminology And Procedures, As Well As Cpt, Icd-10, And Hcpcs Coding Systems.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Accurately And Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
