- Accurately code and bill for anesthesia services provided to patients in accordance with coding and billing guidelines.
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure all anesthesia services are properly coded and billed.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all coding and billing tasks.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and billing staff to resolve any coding or billing discrepancies.
- Remain up-to-date on coding and billing regulations and changes in the healthcare industry.
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet coding and billing deadlines.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely coding and billing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide suggestions for streamlining coding and billing processes.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance coding and billing skills.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the coding and billing team.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers regarding coding and billing inquiries.
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures related to coding and billing.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Health Initiatives.
Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Certification From Aapc Or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-Based (Ccs-P) Certification From Ahima.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Coding Experience In Anesthesia Coding In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Cpt, Icd-10, And Hcpcs Coding Guidelines And Principles.
Familiarity With Anesthesia Billing And Reimbursement Processes.
Ability To Communicate Effectively And Collaborate With Healthcare Providers, Coding Team Members, And Other Stakeholders.
