- Accurately code and bill for anesthesia services provided to patients in accordance with coding guidelines and regulations.
- Review medical records and other documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of coding.
- Utilize knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems to assign appropriate codes for anesthesia services.
- Communicate with anesthesia providers and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
- Stay up-to-date on coding guidelines, regulations, and changes in the healthcare industry to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with billing and reimbursement teams to resolve any coding-related issues and ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers to improve coding accuracy and documentation.
- Participate in coding audits and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and exceptional care to all patients.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all coding and billing processes.

Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Certification From The American Health Information Management Association (Ahima).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Coding Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Anesthesia Coding.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology Related To Anesthesia Procedures.
Proficiency In Coding Software And Electronic Health Record Systems.
Excellent Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Independently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
