Automotive Painter

We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Painter to join the Carvana team! This role is perfect for someone who loves to work with their hands and has a passion for cars and car repair. If you have experience refinishing and painting cars, then this position could be the perfect fit for you.The ideal candidate for this role will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of experience painting cars, and a valid driver’s license. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, pays attention to detail, and is great at problem-solving. We’d also prefer someone who has knowledge of automotive systems and can identify and repair minor damage. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
2. Refinish and paint vehicles according to customer's specifications.
3. Maintain painting equipment and clean work area to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
4. Inspect vehicles for defects and repair minor damage as needed.
5. Follow production standards and adhere to safety protocols to ensure quality of work.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to ensure best practices are followed.
7. Maintain accurate records of work completed.
8. Work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
