Automotive Painter

We are looking for an experienced and talented Automotive Painter to join the team at Carvana. In this role, you will be responsible for prepping and painting vehicles to meet Carvana’s high standards of quality. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is passionate about cars. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and excellent attention to detail.To be successful in this role, you must have:• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Painter• Thorough understanding of automotive painting techniques, processes, and materials• Proficiency in using automotive painting tools and equipment• Excellent attention to detail• Excellent color matching skills• Knowledge of safety protocols and practicesIf you have a passion for cars and a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding and cleaning surfaces.
2. Mix paints and other materials to obtain desired color and consistency.
3. Apply primer, sealer, and base coats to vehicles.
4. Apply clear coats and other special finishes according to customer specifications.
5. Inspect vehicles for defects and flaws prior to painting.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
8. Ensure that all automotive painting processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Maintain accurate records of all automotive painting projects.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive painting techniques and materials.
