Job Description

At Carrefour, we are looking for a Store Management Trainee who will be an integral part of our team and help drive the success of our stores. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for retail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. An ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of organizational and problem-solving skills, and an ability to motivate and lead team members.We are looking for someone who has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with at least two years of retail management experience. Working knowledge of retail systems and processes, as well as an understanding of labor laws, are essential requirements. The successful candidate must also have strong communication and people skills, and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise staff and ensure store operations are running efficiently and effectively
  2. Monitor store performance and take corrective action when necessary
  3. Train and develop staff and ensure that customer service standards are met
  4. Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  5. Manage store inventory and ordering of stock
  6. Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  7. Develop and implement store promotions and marketing strategies
  8. Monitor store safety and security
  9. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  10. Analyze store data and provide business insights to upper management
