- Provide one-on-one career counseling and guidance to students in the College of Engineering.
- Assist students in developing and refining their career goals and creating a personalized career plan.
- Conduct workshops and presentations on various career-related topics, such as resume writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in the engineering field in order to provide relevant and accurate career advice to students.
- Collaborate with employers and alumni to develop internship and job opportunities for students.
- Utilize career assessment tools and resources to help students identify their strengths and interests and match them with potential career paths.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress, and provide regular updates to the career services team.
- Serve as a liaison between the College of Engineering and the broader career services team at Carnegie Mellon University.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve counseling skills and stay current on industry best practices.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of career services programs and initiatives specifically tailored to engineering students.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, offering guidance and support throughout their academic and career journey.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff in the College of Engineering to integrate career development into the curriculum.
- Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of career services programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Higher Education, Or Related Field.
Previous Experience Working In A University Career Center Or With Engineering Students.
Knowledge Of Career Development Theories And Strategies.
Familiarity With Job Search Resources And Job Market Trends In The Engineering Industry.
