  1. Develop and implement engaging and impactful student programs and initiatives that align with the university's mission and values.
  2. Foster a vibrant campus community by creating opportunities for students to connect with each other, faculty, and staff.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and student organizations to coordinate and promote events and activities.
  4. Use data and feedback to continuously evaluate and improve existing programs and identify new opportunities for student engagement.
  5. Cultivate relationships with students and serve as a resource for their personal and academic development.
  6. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of program coordinators and student leaders.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for student programs and initiatives.
  8. Work closely with the university's diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.
  9. Serve as an advocate for student needs and concerns, and support them in navigating university resources.
  10. Stay current on trends and best practices in student engagement and incorporate them into programming.
  11. Represent the university at conferences and events related to student programs and engagement.
  12. Collaborate with other university departments to ensure seamless integration of student programs with academic and co-curricular activities.
  13. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to student programs and engagement.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports of program attendance, feedback, and budget expenditures.
  15. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the university through your work as Associate Director of Student Programs and Engagement.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Student Affairs Or Related Field, With A Focus On Program Development And Student Engagement.

  • Master's Degree In Higher Education, Student Affairs, Or A Related Field.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Supervising And Mentoring Student Staff And Coordinating Large-Scale Events And Initiatives.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Student Development Theory And Experience Implementing Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication, Collaboration, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Groups Of Students, Faculty, And Staff.
