  1. Greet and welcome customers to the dealership in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers with their car buying process by providing detailed information about our vehicles and services.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
  4. Listen to customer needs and concerns, and effectively address and resolve any issues that may arise.
  5. Provide guidance and support to junior customer service team members.
  6. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
  7. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and make recommendations to management.
  8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and service to ensure seamless customer service.
  10. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  11. Meet and exceed individual and team targets for customer satisfaction and sales.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
  13. Attend training and development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including customer privacy and data protection.
  16. Assist with any other duties assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Customer Service Experience: A Senior Customer Specialist At Carmax Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Automotive Setting. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Strong Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Resolving Complex Customer Issues.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Colleagues Is Crucial For A Senior Customer Specialist At Carmax. This Includes Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, Active Listening, And The Ability To Convey Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.

This Includes A Basic Understanding Of Vehicle Features And Specifications, As Well As Experience Working With Car Buying And Selling Processes.

  • Leadership Skills: A Senior Customer Specialist At Carmax May Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Customer Specialists, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Important.
