  1. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of CarMax's accounting systems and processes.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to identify and analyze business and system requirements.
  3. Lead and participate in the design and implementation of new system enhancements and functionality.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the accounting systems.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the accounting systems.
  6. Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality and processes.
  7. Monitor and analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounting systems.

  12. Mentor and guide junior business systems analysts in the team.
  13. Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and integration of accounting systems with other business systems.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data and systems.
  15. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Business Systems Analyst Role, Preferably In An Accounting Or Financial Systems Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting.

  • Expertise In Implementing And Managing Accounting And Financial Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
