- Oversee the processing of all incoming and outgoing parcels and mail for the company.
- Develop and implement efficient procedures and systems for handling parcels and mail.
- Manage and lead a team of mailroom staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of shipping and mailing supplies.
- Ensure timely delivery of important documents and packages to internal departments and external clients.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery of parcels and mail.
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipping and delivery vendors.
- Create and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing parcels and mail.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper handling and distribution of sensitive or confidential materials.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of mailroom equipment.
- Continuously review and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by promptly addressing any concerns or inquiries related to parcel and mail operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to parcel and mail operations.
- Prepare and present reports on mailroom operations to upper management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in parcel and mail operations to improve processes and stay competitive.
Experience In Mail And Parcel Operations: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Managing Mail And Parcel Operations, Including Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Best Practices, And Regulations.
