  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction at CarMax.
  2. Lead a team of customer service representatives to ensure they are providing exceptional service to customers.
  3. Train and coach team members on best practices for handling customer inquiries and complaints.
  4. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers in the Customer Experience Center.
  5. Monitor and analyze customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve customer experience.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient customer journey.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the customer experience.
  9. Handle escalated customer concerns and find solutions to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  10. Create and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence across all interactions.
  11. Monitor and track key performance metrics to evaluate the success of customer experience initiatives.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
  13. Represent CarMax at community events and build brand awareness through positive customer interactions.
  14. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align customer experience strategies with company goals.
  15. Set and communicate clear expectations and goals for the team to ensure high levels of performance and motivation.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Leading A Team: A Manager Of The Customer Experience Center At Carmax Should Have Prior Experience In Managing And Leading A Team Of Customer Service Representatives. This Includes Setting Performance Goals, Providing Feedback, And Ensuring A Positive And Productive Work Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As The Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Employees. They Should Be Able To Articulate Information Clearly And Professionally, Both Verbally And In Writing.

  • Customer Service Expertise: As The Primary Point Of Contact For Customer Inquiries And Complaints, The Manager Should Have A Strong Background In Customer Service. This Includes Knowledge Of Best Practices, Problem-Solving Skills, And The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations With Empathy And Professionalism.

  • Strong Leadership Abilities: A Successful Manager At Carmax Should Possess Strong Leadership Qualities, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Their Team To Achieve Goals And Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences. They Should Also Be Able To Make Sound Decisions And Delegate Tasks Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Automotive Industry: While Not A Requirement, Having Knowledge Of The Automotive Industry Can Be Beneficial For A Manager At Carmax. This Includes Understanding Car Buying And Selling Processes, Vehicle Features And Specifications, And Current Market Trends.
