- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Receive and process incoming vehicles, ensuring all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Inspect and assess the condition of vehicles, noting any damage or defects.
- Prepare vehicles for display and sale, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Organize and maintain the lot, ensuring all vehicles are displayed properly and safely.
- Assist in the transportation of vehicles between locations and to and from auction sites.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure all vehicles are prepared and ready for customer appointments.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any questions or concerns related to inventory.
- Follow company policies and procedures for inventory management and safety protocols.
- Strive to meet and exceed productivity and efficiency goals set by the company.
- Continuously seek ways to improve inventory processes and procedures for better efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor new inventory associates as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Represent CarMax's values and mission in all interactions with customers and team members.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Prior Experience In Inventory Management Or Related Field
