
Inventory Associate

- Maintain accurate inventory records: The primary responsibility of an Inventory Associate is to ensure that all inventory records are up-to-date and accurate. This includes tracking the location, status, and details of all vehicles in stock.
- Organize and maintain inventory: The Inventory Associate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the physical inventory on the lot. This includes arranging vehicles in designated areas, conducting regular inventory checks, and keeping the lot clean and presentable.
- Prepare vehicles for sale: The Inventory Associate will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for sale by ensuring they are clean, presentable, and in good working condition. This may involve performing basic maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and replacing tires.
- Assist with vehicle transfers: In some cases, vehicles may need to be transferred between different CarMax locations. The Inventory Associate may be responsible for coordinating and executing these transfers, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately.
