Flow Inventory Associate

- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Receive and inspect incoming vehicles, documenting any damages or issues.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of vehicles in the inventory lot.
- Prepare vehicles for display and sale, including completing necessary paperwork and conducting quality control checks.
- Monitor and track vehicle movements within the lot, ensuring timely and efficient flow of inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to ensure all inventory needs are met.
- Assist in the transportation of vehicles between locations, as needed.
- Keep inventory areas clean and organized, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate any inventory issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and suggest ways to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns related to inventory.
- Attend training and development programs to stay updated on inventory processes and procedures.
- Assist with other duties or projects as assigned by management.
Experience In Inventory Management: As A Flow Inventory Associate At Carmax, It Is Important To Have Prior Experience In Inventory Management, Particularly In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Control Systems, Cycle Counting, And Inventory Reconciliation.
Attention To Detail: The Flow Inventory Associate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Track And Record Inventory Levels. This Includes Identifying Discrepancies And Taking Corrective Action To Maintain Accurate Inventory Records.
Strong Organizational Skills: A Successful Flow Inventory Associate Must Be Highly Organized And Able To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. This Includes Prioritizing Tasks, Maintaining Inventory Levels, And Coordinating With Other Team Members To Ensure Efficient Flow Of Inventory.
