- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of vehicles in the dealership.
- Receive new inventory and verify accuracy of information such as VIN, make, model, and mileage.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management.
- Work closely with sales and service departments to ensure timely processing of vehicles.
- Safely and efficiently move vehicles within the dealership lot.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Ensure proper documentation and storage of vehicle keys.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of vehicles for display and sale.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Continuously strive to improve inventory processes and make suggestions for improvement.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers who visit the dealership.
- Stay up-to-date with inventory management software and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall functioning of the dealership.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: A Flow Inventory Associate At Carmax Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Control, Cycle Counting, And Inventory Reconciliation.
