  1. Operate weighing and scaling equipment accurately and efficiently.
  2. Ensure all materials are accurately weighed and measured according to company standards.
  3. Monitor and maintain the proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
  4. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
  6. Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  8. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  9. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  10. Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
  11. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  12. Continuously strive for improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.
  14. Train and mentor new employees as needed.
  15. Attend required training and meetings to stay current on job responsibilities and safety protocols.
  16. Adhere to quality control standards and make adjustments as needed.
  17. Monitor raw materials and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished.
  18. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  19. Uphold company values and represent the company in a professional manner.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Weighing And Scaling Procedures: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Weighing And Scaling Procedures, Including The Use Of Various Scales And Equipment. This Includes Knowledge Of Weight Conversions, Calibration Techniques, And Proper Handling Of Products.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Weigh And Scale Operator, Accuracy Is Crucial. The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail And Consistently Produce Precise Measurements Is A Must.

  • Familiarity With Food Safety Regulations: Cargill Is Committed To Following Strict Food Safety Regulations, And A Qualified Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In These Regulations. This Includes Knowledge Of Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmps) And Hazard Analysis And Critical Control Points (Haccp).

  • Physical Stamina: This Role May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time And Lifting Heavy Objects, So Physical Stamina Is Important. A Candidate Should Be Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job And Maintain A High Level Of Productivity Throughout Their Shift.

  • Communication Skills: As A Weigh And Scale Operator, You Will Be Working As Part Of A Team. It Is Important To Have Strong Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Supervisors, And Other Departments. This Includes The Ability To Accurately Record And Report Data, As Well As Communicate Any Issues Or Concerns That May Arise.
