- Oversee and manage all VAT related activities for Cargill operations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- Ensure compliance with all VAT laws and regulations in both countries.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective VAT processes and procedures.
- Monitor changes in VAT regulations and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate VAT requirements into business processes.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding VAT related matters.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial data to identify any potential VAT risks or opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in VAT laws to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and authorities as needed.
- Train and mentor team members on VAT related matters.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve overall VAT processes and compliance.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities related to VAT.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Extensive Knowledge Of Vat Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Vat Laws And Regulations In Both Belgium And The Netherlands. This Includes Knowledge Of The Different Vat Rates, Exemptions, And Reporting Requirements In Each Country.
Experience In Managing Vat Compliance: As A Vat Manager, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Vat Compliance For A Large Multinational Company. This Includes Overseeing Vat Filings, Audits, And Ensuring Timely And Accurate Reporting.
Strong Analytical Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Effectively Analyze And Interpret Complex Vat Data. This Will Enable Them To Identify Potential Risks And Opportunities For Tax Savings.
Multitasking And Time Management Abilities: With The Responsibility Of Managing Vat For Two Countries, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Multitasking And Time Management Abilities To Handle Multiple Tasks And Deadlines Efficiently.
