  1. Ensure compliance with all trade regulations and laws at a global level.
  2. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of international trade policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor and track changes in trade regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address any potential compliance issues.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade and compliance activities.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for employees.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Support global trade operations by providing guidance and expertise on compliance matters.
  10. Proactively identify and resolve any compliance-related issues that may arise.
  11. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance in all aspects of the supply chain.
  12. Communicate regularly with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with trade regulations.
  13. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
  14. Stay informed about emerging trends and changes in trade and compliance regulations.
  15. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input on trade and compliance matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations: A Successful Trade And Compliance Coordinator At Cargill Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of International Trade Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Import/Export Regulations, Customs Procedures, And Trade Agreements.

  • Experience In Trade Compliance: Candidates For This Role Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In Trade Compliance, Preferably In A Similar Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing Import/Export Processes, Completing Documentation, And Ensuring Compliance With Relevant Laws And Regulations.

  • Attention To Detail: The Trade And Compliance Coordinator Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Trade Documentation And Compliance Processes. This Includes Verifying Product Classifications, Origin, And Ensuring All Required Documentation Is Complete And Accurate.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For This Role As The Trade And Compliance Coordinator Will Need To Work Closely With Various Internal Teams, External Partners, And Government Agencies. The Ability To Communicate Complex Trade Compliance Requirements In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Essential.

  • Analytical Skills: The Trade And Compliance Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Trade Data, Identifying Compliance Issues, And Making Recommendations For Improvements. Strong Analytical Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Monitor And Report On Trade Compliance Activities And Identify Potential Risks Or Opportunities For Improvement.
