  1. Manage and optimize the Snowflake data warehouse to support business operations.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve data warehouse performance and efficiency.
  3. Monitor system health and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake updates and best practices.
  6. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure data security and compliance with industry and company standards.
  8. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  9. Create and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes and procedures.
  10. Proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues in the data warehouse.
  11. Train and mentor other team members on Snowflake administration.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and troubleshooting.
  13. Continuously look for ways to optimize and improve the data warehouse environment.
  14. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide timely updates on data warehouse performance.
  15. Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Database Administration, With Specific Experience In Snowflake

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Warehousing Concepts And Data Modeling

  • Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Sql, Python, Or Java

  • Previous Experience In Managing And Optimizing Large-Scale Data Environments, Preferably In A Cloud-Based Environment
