  1. Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  3. Train and educate employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential environmental impact and implement sustainable solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes in order to make necessary updates to existing policies and procedures.
  6. Investigate and report on any workplace incidents or accidents, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and serve as the primary point of contact for all environmental, health, and safety related inquiries.
  8. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans to ensure the safety of employees and the community in the event of an emergency.
  9. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Communicate regularly with management and employees to promote a safe work environment and address any concerns or questions related to environmental health and safety.
  11. Participate in company-wide initiatives to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all environmental health and safety activities.
  13. Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
  14. Lead and participate in safety committees and meetings to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety initiatives.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve environmental health and safety processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety for all stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health And Safety Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Agricultural Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Osha Standards.

  • Experience Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Safety Procedures, And Implementing Safety Programs.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Procedures.
