  1. Develop and implement effective environmental and safety programs for all Cargill sites.
  2. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations and standards.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify and implement best practices for environmental health and safety.
  5. Conduct training and education sessions for employees on proper safety procedures and protocols.
  6. Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents that occur in the workplace.
  7. Develop emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and the environment.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to environmental health and safety.
  9. Monitor and track environmental and safety data to identify areas for improvement.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of environmental and safety considerations into business processes.
  11. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and respond to any inquiries or requests for information.
  12. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance environmental and safety practices.
  13. Communicate and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations to share best practices and promote Cargill's environmental and safety efforts.
  15. Collaborate with leadership to develop and track key performance indicators for environmental health and safety.
  16. Keep accurate records and documentation related to environmental and safety programs.
  17. Adhere to Cargill's core values and ethical standards at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Are Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health And Safety Roles, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Agricultural Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Experience Ensuring Compliance.

  • Strong Understanding Of Risk Assessment And Mitigation Strategies, As Well As Incident Investigation And Reporting.
